Swedish Cheese Tasting with Almnas Bruk

We are honored to host Thomas Berglund, owner of Almnäs Bruk creamery in Sweden, for an evening of cheese tasting, cheese pairing, and storytelling. Thomas is traveling from Sweden to share the mission being carried out on his family’s manor farm in Hjo, Sweden — a manor that is named in the earliest written document in the Swedish language, and which holds Sweden’s first trademark and the first PDO (protected designation of origin) cheese in all of Northern Europe.

We’ll taste through the creamery’s two export cheeses, Wrångebäck and Almnäs Tegel, pair them with some Swedish beverages, and taste them in a perfect bite created by each of us. It is a rare experience to host Thomas in the Northwest, so please join us for the exciting evening event!
