Raclette Night at Logan Brewing Company

January 28, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

We will be melting delicious Raclette cheese this Raclette Night at Logan Brewing in Burien! Raclette is a washed-rind cheese made from cow’s milk that gets its name from the French word “racler,” which means “to scrape”–because that’s how this cheese is most commonly served: scraped hot onto potatoes with pickles and charcuterie.

For our take on this tasty Swiss mountain tradition, we put a Raclette-style cheese (Filomena from Fantello Farmstead Creamery in Enumclaw, WA, and Schmidthauser Raclette de Savoie from France) onto one of our cheese-melting contraptions until the cheese becomes molten and bubbly. The hot stuff gets melted over crispy potato chips and is served with a side of cornichon pickles and cured meat (or not meat, if you’re a vegetarian). It’s a fantastic, cozy way to treat yourself to the best things in life (cheese). If you’re in for the long haul on beer and cheese that night, we’ll also be putting together our standard fare of non-melted cheese and charcuterie plates.

If you’d like, you can also place a pre-order for other items from our online store and schedule a pick-up during this event (4-7pm). Be sure the pickup location says Logan Brewing under “How to get it now.”
